Everytime I hear of new Madlib material coming up, I'm like a little kid at christmas, I can't help it I need to get it! After just releasing 'Yesterday's Universe' under his Yesterday's Quintet alias (featuring another 10 new groups that will release their own albums next year), he's dropping parts 3 & 4 of his Beat Konducta series as one CD in August.
This time it has an indian vibe and samples bollywood films and soundtracks, and while its in no way a new idea (anyone remember the 'Bombay The Hard Way' albums released on the dodgy Motel records?), theres just something about that Madlib touch that brings out some magic.
